It's March, which means that it is ALMOST Spring Break!! I cannot wait to finally be back in the home state of Florida soaking up every possible UV ray possible before having to head back to school. This year I'm taking a group of friends with me and my mom (not too weird, her sister lives down there), and we are staying at the condo for the entire week. I chose to go to my home town because Destin and Panama City just aren't the places I fit into or full of the crowds I want to run with. This will be my first real spring break trip, in celebration of being senior year, and this time I will actually GET A TAN. As Ashley, Sophie and I start packing, I'm making sure to grab my favorite products for beach time.
Spring Break here we come!!!

Summer Lovin'
This week is going to be a great one! Even though it's already Wednesday.. I'm getting my workout on by playing volleyball up at my old high school with some old friends. Then I'm having a sleepover (yes, you are never too old to have a sleepover!) with some of my good friends, filled with manicures, ice cream and movies. Later this week I have work, shopping, cleaning, and some dorm planning to do! I can't believe it's already June, and I go back to school in less than two months! This summer has been flying by, but I am planning on making the most of the rest of the time I have away from school and all of that homework and studying. This summer, cherish the time you have with your friends and your family, and find joy in the little things. The memories you make now will stay with you forever, and hey, you're only young once!

Chelsea Lately - My Story
What's my story? It's a long one, actually. I started out in Sarasota, Florida, a coastal city on the Gulf, full of classy cars and expensive homes. It was home to me, until the summer following my ninth birthday. We lost everything in a flood, forcing us to move South, to Charlotte, a quaint beach town, boasting one of the lowest crime rates in America. My dad worked as the boss of a major RV business, allowing us to take those little suckers all across the country on our summer vacations. Those were some of the best days, traveling all over the place with my family, from Alaska to Niagra, the memories made on those trips will stay with me forever. Following my eighth grade year, my dad bought his own RV business out in Texas, which felt like halfway across the world to a girl who was about to start high school.
Leaving all of my friends behind, I trekked across the great terrain of Southern America, and found myself in a small community of insanely SOUTHERN individuals. Cowboy hats and ostrich-skinned boots were the latest in fashion around here, and I knew I had to cling tightly to my roots so I wouldn't find myself conforming. (I do admit that I bought a pair of boots, though, the longer I was here the more the culture began to grow on me.)
I attended a small private college prep school all through high school, loved every second of it, met some of the most influential and amazing people, and graduated in 2011 with a mindset of shooting for the stars.
Now, I call Arkansas my home, and cannot believe I will be graduating next year! (3 and a half years seems too short!!) I found my niche, becoming the sports editor of the school newspaper, the producer of my very own sports show for the university, joining Big Brother/Big Sister, and becoming a member of a sorority. I love every second of this part of my life, and yes, I am still waiting on my Prince Charming to come, but the freedom of singleness is definitely something I have grown to appreciate in college.
My friends are my biggest supporters, and my professors have taken their time to grow me as a student and as an individual. I am now planning to apply for graduate school and move back to Florida following graduation. From there, it's all God, but I know He has gotten me this far, so I have faith He will get me the rest of the way. That's my story, what's yours?
